The federal government requires that all long-term care facilities review patient drug regimens and medical information every 30 days. In most long term care facilities, a pharmacist reviews patient records and creates a recommendation. With the exception of the recommendation, there is little documentation that the pharmacist consultation process has improved patient care or facility viability.

CSS has redesigned the pharmacy consulting process to provide better service and improved accountability. At the core of the Clinical Support Services system is MTMPath™ pharmacy consulting software.
